THE WORK Sikorsky is seeking to hire a full time Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to support R&M activities for various Aircraft programs across the company. In this role, you will: - Perform reliability and maintainability analysis basics, support development of related analysis deliverables in support of the H-60 and Advanced Design/Concept programs. Analysis types include: R&M predictions and fleet data analysis, Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Trees Analysis (FTA), failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS) - Support development of H-60 Program production or modification proposals or other development and production programs, including technical and cost volumes and supporting technical analyses.  - Support regular EVMS reporting and schedule management. - Provide R&M Engr design and Failure Analysis support to assigned IPTs and suppliers. - Will support and/or lead functional and/or digital transformation projects or represent R&M in larger 1LMX or other transformation projects. - Support Tools/Methods/Database integration projects across Specialty Engineering within RMS.

"   Standard Job Description: Develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (doe) constructs. Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability. Compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics; investigates and analyzes relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Analyzes preliminary plans and develops reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives. May develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks. As necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability. May determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing, and specifies minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data. Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related from an accredited college with 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent experience/combined education. Experience with Reliability Analysis, Statistics, Quality Assurance, Data Analytics/Data Engineering/Data Visualization or Application Development. Desired Skills
