Program Manager, Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS)

Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) supports procurement and business teams across the USA, Mexico, Canada, and Brazil, delivering operational excellence and building the tech and automation solutions that power procurement at scale. We are seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional programs that transform how GPCS operates. You will identify process inefficiencies, design and deliver scalable automation solutions, and drive measurable improvements in productivity, compliance, and customer experience — operating as a single-threaded owner from problem definition through production deployment. Procurement knowledge is valuable, but the core of this role is program leadership and driving innovation at scale. Key job responsibilities Program Management and Strategy - Own cross-functional programs end-to-end as a single-threaded owner, ensuring timely, successful delivery. - Develop program strategies and prioritize initiatives based on customer needs, technical inputs, and business impact. - Navigate ambiguity with sound judgment, and identify and mitigate risks before they escalate. Process Improvement and Innovation - Lead process transformation — replacing manual workflows with scalable, automated solutions. - Partner with procurement technology teams to drive innovation and automation across operations. - Design solutions that scale across business models, regions, and regulatory environments. Stakeholder Collaboration and Leadership - Build relationships with internal customers, cross-functional teams, and external partners. - Run effective meetings, drive alignment, and keep senior leaders informed on progress and strategy. - Serve as subject-matter expert for the programs you own. Data-Driven Insights and Reporting - Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and drive decisions. - Build and oversee KPI reporting for clear visibility into milestones, performance, and impact. - Define measures of success for each program and ensure data integrity. Compliance and Operational Excellence - Drive compliance with Amazon's global spend policy and procurement procedures. - Develop process documentation and drive best-practice adoption across regional teams.
