Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.   The  Test Equipment Engineering (TEE)  Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) products. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are located in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system product verification, qualification, test data analysis, and production test solution development. TEE has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and sustainment.

Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments. Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements.  Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.

You Must Have    Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience Minimum of eight (8) years of technical / engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production support.  Skilled in using CAD solid modeling and analysis tools, with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric for complex design and engineering workflows. Demonstrated experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) analysis. Experience creating mechanical drawing packages.

We Prefer   Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging.  Experience with Configuration Management processes, application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM).  Experience in Model Based Engineering or Model Based Design.  Experience in mechanical sub-systems packaging, materials, thermal analysis, structural
