We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and participate in E-Verify. About this Role FiberTel is seeking an experienced Restoration Foreman to lead field restoration crews supporting underground and aerial fiber optic construction projects for our Sacramento location.
The Restoration Foreman is responsible for supervising daily restoration activities, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety compliance, coordinating with project teams, and restoring customer, municipality, and utility properties to pre-construction conditions. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Pay: $32-38/hr, DOE. What You'll Do Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise restoration crews performing post-construction restoration work on OSP fiber projects. Coordinate restoration activities with construction, utility, and project management teams. Ensure restoration work meets customer, municipal, DOT, and company standards Oversee restoration of landscaping, asphalt, concrete, sidewalks, curbs and other hardscape features. Perform quality control duties per job site Participate in required supervisor meetings Ensure that each team member is aware of quality and safety standards and company policies Assist in training supervisors, foreman and crew members Create and maintain positive relationships with workers, customers, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors Coordinate with subcontractors and verify work is completed Coordinate construction services and activities Ensure job site safety is being met Mediate disputes or complaints with third parties
What You'll Bring Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in restoration, utility construction, telecommunications, civil construction, landscaping, or related field. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position. A good driving record is required. Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner. Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner. Class A Commercial Driver’s License is a plus (Higher wage scales apply to CDL holders). Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc. Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
