Our Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program is creating the first hypersonic system for the U.S. Navy, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team. As the Systems Engineer you will play a critical role in the development, integration, and testing of this advanced system. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: •Support the weapon system integration in test labs leading up to a flight test event. • Execute the system level integration and testing to ensure the weapon system meets its performance, safety, and functional objectives. • Coordinate test lab activities for Navy efforts to drive excution. • Offer guidance to a Systems Engineering team, covering the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development to weapons system operations and integration. • Develop strong working relationships with the larger systems team, national team members, and customers to ensure successful product delivery • Utilize your excellent interpersonal skills to assist with the resolution of programmatic and technical issues across the program, identify risks and appropriate mitigation plans • Collaborate with government and customer representatives to support critical daily space-based operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities. • Some travel may be required. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT. Basic Qualifications • Experience with the readiness/execution of system level tests • Experience integrating or troubleshooting electrical or hardware-software systems • System Level Test planning and execution experience with an understanding of all the interdependencies • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance Desired Skills • Experience with the execution of weapon systems flight test • Experience integrating or troubleshooting electrical or hardware-software systems • Experience
