Senior technician (IFM) Position summary: The Senior technician sits within the client’s IFM team and is responsible for supporting safe, reliable day-to-day operations across the client office and staff residential properties. The role delivers building facility services through planned inspections, coordinating maintenance/repairs, and managing contractor performance across assigned locations. Reports to: Post facilities manager Key responsibilities Technical responsibilities (office and facilities equipment) Oversee maintenance activities for plant and facilities equipment to support smooth daily operations across the client office(s). Perform routine inspections using predefined checklists; record findings, raise follow-up actions, and track closure. Coordinate contractors for reactive and planned works (scope, scheduling, site access, supervision, and completion verification). Organize repair quotations and negotiate scope, cost, and timeline with vendors Monitor and manage service-provider performance to ensure works are delivered to required standards, timelines, and HSE expectations.  Support delivery of building facility services as required (including health & safety and engineering-related support aligned to the site scope).  Residential property management (staff accommodation) Conduct HSE inspections for staff residential properties and manage corrective action follow-up. Liaise with landlords to coordinate remedial and maintenance work, including access and completion confirmation. Maintain landlord reporting and records (inspection reports, action trackers, and completion evidence). Documentation and reporting Maintain accurate logs and documentation for inspections, maintenance actions, contractor works, and property/landlord communications to support compliance and operational reporting.    Qualifications and experience: At least 2- year experience in engineering/maintenance/building services including contractor coordination and inspection routines.  Working knowledge of HSE practices and safe systems of work. Strong communication skills to work effectively with client stakeholders, contractors, and landlords.
