Fully responsible for month end closing activities, with support from the accounting shared service team in the Philippines (DBS-PH). Acts as the primary local reviewer and interface with DBS-PH, validating their output before it flows into site and regional reporting. Manage cash flow of the company. Ensure integrity of financial reporting and compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Maintain and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. Partner with the General Manager and function leaders to develop growth strategies and short term and long term operating plans. Manage the budget process, quarterly outlook, and monthly and weekly forecasts. Manage variance analysis, explaining and interpreting the impact of results against plan, forecast and prior year. Provide direct financial business partnering and decision support to the General Manager, OPW Malaysia, including P&L reviews, management and board reporting inputs, and ad hoc analysis. Responsible for the company's statutory audit, tax and GST/SST filings; work with external auditors to ensure timely submission of all Malaysian statutory requirements. Train and develop staff under his/her purview. Any other ad hoc assignments as and when required by the superior, reasonably related to the position and the incumbent's skills, experience and seniority. Work Arrangement : Hybrid
