(Senior) Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems by designing tools and fixtures for current and new products. Work with assembly processes and equipment for a variety of operations in the assembly of implantable and external medical devices. Exercise authority and judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods and techniques for the design of tools and fixtures. Use SolidWorks for designing a variety of analytical tools to verify tools and fixtures effectiveness before submitting to validation team. Collect requirements, conceptualize, present, detail designing, verification and release tools and fixtures for validation. Interact with cross-functional teams in Process Development, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Production and Quality to ensure tools and fixtures meet requirements.

Solid mechanical background, master or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5 - 10 years of experience in mechanical design for Senior position. Disposable medical product ，device development experience is preferred; Good experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T), Design for Manufacturing(DFM), Tolerance Stack Up Analysis. Be familiar with SolidWorks. Be familiar with different process for Process engineer. Familiar with common engineering materials and corresponding manufacturing technology (e.g. Plastic parts, metal-sheet parts, Die-casting and machining parts etc.). Ability to work effectively in complex projects; With innovation skills and problem-solving skills. Team player with good interpersonal/intercultural skills.
