Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Manager, Observational Health Data Analytics (OHDA) to join our Global Epidemiology team. This role is based in Hyderabad, India and requires regular in-office presence. As a Manager on the OHDA team, you will lead the design and execution of real-world evidence studies using large-scale healthcare data to address important scientific and business questions across Johnson & Johnson. The role will be required to manage direct report, mentor analysts, and guide complex analyses. This role is suited for an experienced observational researcher who can work independently, guide complex analyses, and help shape high-quality, reproducible evidence generation. OHDA collaborates with the broader international research community to establish and promote best practices in the appropriate use of observational data by conducting methodological research, developing standardized analytics tools, and demonstrating successful applications to important clinical questions. In this role, you will: Collaborate closely with colleagues across OHDA, Global Epidemiology, and cross-functional teams to advance observational research priorities. Lead the design and delivery of observational analyses for clinical characterization, population-level effect estimation, and patient-level prediction. Independently develop study design documents, including protocols and analysis plans, and guide analytical execution from start to finish. Execute complex analyses using standardized tools and statistical programming across internal and external observational healthcare data resources. Drive improvements in methods, processes, and scientific best practices to support reliable and reproducible real-world evidence generation. Contribute to the design and development of software and analytical tools that enable scalable observational research. Lead the evaluation and characterization of observational data for fitness-for-use in addressing clinical and epidemiologic questions. Provide technical and scientific leadership for the data and analytics environment used by epidemiologists and product teams. Mentor junior team members and contribute to strong scientific communication through reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: An MD or PhD with at least 6+ years of epidemiology programming or related research experience is required. OR A Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Services
