Actuarial Associate Manager (Phó Trưởng Nhóm Định Phí Bảo Hiểm)

Scope 1: Vietnam Risk-based Capital Support the development and implementation of Vietnam's Risk-Based Capital (V-RBC) framework by providing actuarial expertise and business insights. Review the proposed methodologies, calculations and calibrations from external consultant. Assess the financial, solvency, and business impacts of RBC requirements on PVA. Coordinate data collection, validation, and submission for Quantitative Impact Studies (QIS). Support testing, documentation, training, and operational readiness activities for RBC implementation. Scope 2: Asset-Liability and Capital Management Conduct analysis on asset-liability duration gap on a quarterly basis and conduct Group Approval Limit report based on Group requirements. Review Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) for various funds. Scope 3: Asset-Liability Committee (“ALCO”) Meeting Support Support Head of CAS to coordinate ALCO members and consolidate ALCO materials. Prepare ALCO meeting minutes. Scope 4: Group Internal Economic Capital reporting (GIECA) Perform reporting process to produce GIECA Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss, Available Economic Capital (AEC) and Economic Capital Requirement (ECR), following the Group requirements. Collaborate with Group team in supporting them with their lite model runs and 1-in-200 stress test. Conduct business plan for GIECA NB AEC and other GIECA ad-hoc tasks/ requests.

Qualification: A good university degree in a subject with significant exposure to actuarial, finance, mathematics and/or statistics Advantage: Passed some actuarial exams. Experiences:      Mandatory: At least 4 years of relevant actuarial experience and international reporting standards. At least 4 actuarial exams passed. Good command of written and spoken English. Advantage : Prior experience with Prophet or other actuarial modelling software such as DCS, SQL, Python, VBA … Knowledge and skill set: Mandatory: Good command of written and spoken English Good analytical skills Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Access and database packages Advantage : Deeply understand about actuarial cashflows, product modelling, product pricing.
