Xylem is seeking a Risk Insurance Analyst to support the administration of our corporate insurance and risk management programs. This role will focus on property, casualty, and related insurance activities, including renewals, claims administration, policy tracking, certificates of insurance, and risk-related reporting and analysis. Based in Charlotte, NC , this position will partner with internal stakeholders across the business as well as external brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators to help ensure efficient insurance program administration, timely claims follow-up, and responsive support for day-to-day risk management needs. Location: Charlotte, NC Work Arrangement: Hybrid (in office 3 days per week) Risk Insurance Analyst Responsibilities: Support the administration of Xylem’s property, casualty, and other corporate insurance programs, helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations and effective policy management. Coordinate insurance renewal and policy administration activities, including collecting, validating, and preparing underwriting and exposure data for Xylem’s annual insurance renewals to support accurate presentation of the company’s risk profile to insurers. Maintain the company’s insurance policy inventory by tracking policy receipt, documenting key policy details in the master insurance database, and keeping organized electronic records in designated repositories. Review and process insurance premiums and related renewal activity through Xylem financial systems, validating amounts and ensuring appropriate approval workflows are followed. Manage day-to-day claims activities, including claim intake, reporting, documentation, status tracking, and coordination with internal stakeholders, brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Assist with filing new claims, gathering supporting documentation, monitoring claim progress, helping facilitate resolution, and ensuring timely follow-up on open matters. Monitor, analyze, and report on claims activity and loss trends to support visibility, informed decision-making, and continuous improvement efforts. Support certificate of insurance requests and provide backup support for the insurance department mailbox, coordinating timely responses with internal stakeholders and external insurance partners. Track certificates of insurance and related state compliance requirements to help support regulatory and contractual obligations. Assist in managing relationships with brokers, carriers, and third-party service providers that support Xylem’s risk and insurance programs. Respond to ad hoc risk management requests from business units, providing guidance, documentation, analysis, and support on insurance and operational risk-related matters. Serve as a key point of contact for routine insurance-related questions, contract insurance requirements, claims support, and other risk management inquiries. Support business continuity and resilience initiatives as needed and identify opportunities to improve risk management processes, controls, and reporting. Risk Insurance Analyst Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Insurance, or a related field . 3–6 years of experience in risk management, insurance, claims, audit, or a related discipline.
