Shipping Lead PR06 (1st Shift)-Berry St Plant

Pay: $18.05 Work most weekends Job Description Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department operations and ensuring team members understand and follow instructions. Monitor equipment performance and notify the Supervisor of any maintenance needs. Support a safe work environment while ensuring compliance with Tyson policies and procedures. Assist with production line setup and perform daily equipment inspections to ensure proper operation. Monitor production activities, provide on-the-job training, and support team members as needed. Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure necessary materials are available on the production floor. Assist with attendance tracking and training of new hires or team members requiring retraining. Support washdown and sanitation activities to ensure all areas are properly cleaned. Serve as a liaison between the Supervisor and team members, communicating expectations and reporting quality concerns. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, excluding employee disciplinary actions. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills. Position is open to team members currently working at this facility. Team members from other Tyson facilities should express interest through their local HR Partner.

3 months of food industry production experience in the last 2 years (can be combination of employers as long as experience is 3 months within 2 years)   There is 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members. Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
