As a High-Volume Manufacturing Shift Process Engineer, you will be a part of a world-class team supporting our critical high-volume manufacturing ramp. In this role you will drive operational excellence, maintain process stability, improve yield, and increase manufacturing output. Collaborating with equipment engineers, shift operations teams, process owners to quickly resolve issues, you will also help implement continuous improvements and ensure manufacturing goals are met safely and efficiently. This is a shift position rotating 3-4 days off a week.

Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, quality, efficiency, and overall equipment efficiency while supporting area benchmarks and wafer output goals. Analyze process performance using Statistical Process Control (SPC), Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and other engineering methodologies to identify trends, resolve excursions, and drive detailed problem solving. Lead issue resolution activities by identifying, escalating, and addressing processes, tools, defects, yield, and output-related concerns in a timely manner. Develop, update, and maintain operational procedures, assessor checklists, documentation, and training materials to support standardized execution and compliance. Apply AI-enabled analytics tools, data visualization platforms, and engineering software to identify process improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related engineering field or equivalent experience. More than 2 years’ experience as a semiconductor process engineer. Must be flexible to work in a cleanroom environment on 12-hour shifts, rotating 3-4 workdays per week and day to night every four months. Demonstrated knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Building of Experiments (DOE), and structured problem-solving methodologies. Proficiency with one or more programming, scripting, analytics, or visualization tools such as Python, Java, MATLAB, Tableau, or Microsoft Office applications. Experience analyzing complex manufacturing or engineering data and making process-related decisions based on technical findings.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data collection systems, data warehousing, data cleansing and querying. Hands-on experience applying data analytics techniques to support engineering, manufacturing, or operational improvements. Working knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, processing equipment, and supporting systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functional teams.
