Job Description
Department Overview: The Executive Talent Acquisition Sourcing & Talent Intelligence Lead plays a key role in enhancing the bank's in-house executive search capability. Reporting to the Head of Executive Talent Acquisition, this role focuses on executive sourcing, talent mapping, market intelligence, competitor research, and candidate identification to support high-priority executive searches. Working closely with Executive TA recruiters, the role provides talent insights, market perspectives, and pipeline intelligence that strengthens search execution and support more informed hiring decisions. Key priorities include building robust executive talent pipelines, delivering actionable market intelligence, identifying external talent opportunities, and creating reusable research assets that improve search quality and recruiter effectiveness. By equipping recruiters with high-quality talent intelligence, candidate insights, and market research, this role helps improve executive search outcomes, enhance the candidate and hiring leader experience, and reduce reliance on external search firms where appropriate through stronger in-house sourcing and research capabilities. Depth & Scope: Focused on highly specialized portfolio of the greatest complexity Works autonomously and accountable for acting as a lead within a specialized function and may provide work direction to others Provides seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and/or guidance to various stakeholders and team members Scope of role may have enterprise impact Focus on medium -term issues (e.g. 6-12 months) Undertakes and completes a variety of complex projects and initiatives requiring specialist knowledge and/or the integration of cross functional processes within own area of expertise Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree 7+ years related experience Expert knowledge of recruiting and employment practices Knowledge of federal and state employment laws Extensive recruiting experience in an HR setting or agency required Established network of contacts in Banking / financial services and executive circles preferred Expert interviewing experience required Proven ability to influence and hire candidates in highly competitive situations Expert ability to develop optimal relationships with associates, hiring managers and executive management Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to develop relationships of trust, respect and credibility both with the external candidate and the internal customer Computer literacy and proficiency in common PC applications including internet recruitment tools Excellent written and verbal communications skills required Proven ability to source passive candidates and ability to build relationships with potential passive candidates for long term placements Proven experience and ability to create networks and utilize social media Ability to work independently Demonstrated experience in capturing data and building a database of market data Proven ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and assignments
