THE ROLE
We are looking for a North America (NA) commercial sales professional to support the growth of AMD products at Lenovo, as part of the AMD NA | Lenovo account team. This role is central to executing AMD’s commercial sell-out strategy by working closely alongside Lenovo’s inside sales teams, building relationships at the rep level, and driving AMD consideration and preference through daily engagement and enablement. Familiarity with the Lenovo NA sales organization, with existing or developing relationships among inside sales and channel teams A strong drive to “win” paired with a collaborative mindset and sound business perspective Confident communicator who can engage credibly with sales reps, partner account managers, and field personnel Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment Honest and trustworthy in dealings with internal and external customers, colleagues, and partners Genuine curiosity about technology and the ability to translate product advantages into sales-relevant talking points Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to support broader account team goals KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as an AMD presence within Lenovo’s NA inside sales teams, building day-to-day relationships and positioning AMD as the preferred platform across commercial client (notebook, desktop, workstation) solutions Drive AMD consideration and sell-out activity by engaging directly with Lenovo inside sales reps – providing product training, competitive positioning, deal support, and motivational incentives Support execution of sell-out programs and campaigns developed by the broader AMD Lenovo GAM account team, ensuring Lenovo reps are enabled and activated Track rep-level activity and results; maintain accurate opportunity and pipeline data in Salesforce, and report progress against sell-out targets Collaborate with AMD account managers and marketing teams to align messaging, promotions, and enablement tools to field needs Provide regular feedback to the account team on competitive dynamics, Lenovo rep sentiment, and field-level barriers to AMD consideration Participate in QBR preparation and contribute to forecasting accuracy by surfacing rep-level insights from the Lenovo inside sales floor PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a commercial technology sales or channel sales support role Technical Familiarity: Working knowledge of CPU, GPU, and NPU technologies sufficient to confidently engage Lenovo sales reps on AMD product advantages Influencing Skills: History of driving preference and behavior change through relationship-building and enablement rather than direct authority Partner & Channel Experience: Familiarity working within or alongside large channel sales environments, ideally at a PC OEM, distributor, or technology vendor Organizational Skills: Proven ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders CRM Proficiency:
