Mixed-Signal CMOS Design Engineer Join a team developing advanced integrated circuits and readout integrated circuits that enable next-generation imaging sensor technologies. In this role, you will help bring complex mixed-signal semiconductor products from concept to production, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to create innovative, high-performance solutions. What you'll do
Design and develop mixed-signal CMOS integrated circuits from concept through production release. Create precision analog circuits including amplifiers, comparators, voltage references, clocking circuits, and phase-locked loops. Design high-performance analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters. Develop digital control logic and mixed-signal interfaces. Perform schematic design, simulation, and verification using industry-standard electronic design automation tools. Execute process, voltage, temperature, noise, reliability, and yield analyses. Support physical implementation activities, including layout reviews and post-layout verification. Participate in silicon bring-up, characterization, debugging, and root-cause analysis. Collaborate with systems, FPGA, test, and product engineering teams. Prepare technical documentation and contribute to design reviews. What you need Strong analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design skills - required Knowledge of CMOS device physics, noise analysis, feedback, and stability - required Experience designing and verifying mixed-signal integrated circuits - required Experience with Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, or similar design tools - required Understanding of silicon debug and laboratory characterization techniques - required Experience with image sensor interfaces, readout electronics, or scientific instrumentation - preferred Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, or Verilog-AMS - preferred Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related discipline; Master's or Ph.D. is a plus - required/preferred What we offer Opportunity to work on cutting-edge imaging and semiconductor technologies.
