Job Description

The Universal Film Ultimates FP&A team is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance to lead worldwide film ultimate forecasting, performance analysis, and executive communications across the Film Group. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day team operations, driving the execution of recurring forecasting and reporting processes, and ensuring team deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. This position partners closely with finance teams across the Film Group, develops junior team members, and supports Finance leadership with strategic analyses, executive presentations, and ad hoc business initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities

Lead pre-and post-release analysis of films for senior leadership, including presenting key financial impacts and recommendations to stakeholders Prepare and review “what-if” scenario analysis (release date, performance expectations, etc.) to support strategic film decisions Actively manage slate reporting for Universal and Focus Features films along with other standardized FP&A reports Lead coordination across finance teams from the 11 film business units to ensure timely forecast submissions, alignment of assumptions, and efficient execution of recurring planning processes Establish team priorities and oversee execution of recurring forecasting, reporting, and planning processes Provide leadership, coaching, development, and performance feedback to team members, including direct people management responsibilities Review and approve analyses, reporting, models, and presentations prior to leadership distribution Manage and enhance complex financial models with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and AI-driven solutions to reduce manual workload and improve efficiency across forecasting and reporting Oversee consolidation of budgets, quarterly estimates & long-range plans for tracked titles Work closely with leadership on ad hoc projects, analysis, and presentations Qualifications Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field 4+ years finance experience; 6+ years finance experience preferred High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Solid communication skills demonstrated across a complex organization Desired Characteristics: Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data
