We’re inviting expressions of interest from candidates interested in joining our Buildings & Places as a Graduate Safety Engineer. With a strong pipeline of projects across a range of sectors, this is a great opportunity to gain practical experience and build your skills alongside experienced fire safety engineers. How you’ll make a difference: Gain exposure to fire engineering projects across the project lifecycle, from early concept and design through to completion, supporting the development of practical, performance-based fire safety solutions. Conduct fire risk assessments, evacuation analysis and smoke control modelling, as well as prepare technical reports and documentation to support design outcomes and approvals. Develop your understanding of relevant fire engineering codes, standards, regulations and industry practices, applying your knowledge to real-world projects under the guidance of experienced engineers. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, gaining valuable insight into how fire safety considerations are integrated into the broader design and delivery of buildings. Degree: You must be in your final year of, or have completed, a relevant Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with relevant fire safety coursework or specialisation.
