U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Sr SW Engineer (Tranquest Merchant-Processing Platform) (multiple positions) in Irving, TX.

Review software development architecture and code from vendor teams to enforce standards and high-quality delivery. Design and maintain Tranquest Merchant-Processing Platform that powers merchant onboarding and payment processing to ensure secure transaction flows. Lead platform reliability and production observability to reduce production defects and enforce secure-by-default and performance engineering. Deliver service-level fraud safeguards by strengthening validation layers, data integrity checks, and risk rules to flag anomalies in merchant transactions. Implement AI-based code engineering innovation and intelligent refactoring to elevate code quality. Auto-generate technical documentation and integration test scaffolding.

Position requires a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science and 3 years in a Software Developer, or related, occupation .  Required Skills/Experience: Must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: 1. Scalable backend microservices, RESTful APIs, and business logic for banking applications; 2. Building interactive and responsive user interfaces and reusable components using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript; 3. Designing data persistence using Oracle, SQL server, and PostgreSQL to support application data needs; 4. Managing codebase versioning, branching, merging, and code reviews; 5. GraphQL API and managing backend connections using Apigee and API gateways; 6. Agile software development life cycle, sprint planning, and daily scrums; 7. Unit testing, debugging, and code reviews using JUnit, and Jest; and, 8. Continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to automate code deployment. Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $138,590 - $ 176,100 .
