Make your Mark in Human Resources Human Resources plays a critical role in supporting AIG’s people and business strategy by helping attract, develop, engage, and retain talent across the organization. The HR team partners with business leaders and employees to deliver people-focused solutions that strengthen organizational performance, enhance the employee experience, and support AIG’s evolving business needs. As an HR Intern , you will gain exposure to programs, processes, and initiatives that support AIG’s global workforce. Opportunities are available across several areas of Human Resources, including HR Business Partners, Compensation, and Talent & Performance Management. Depending on your area, you may support business and workforce priorities, compensation programs and analysis, or initiatives focused on talent development and performance. Working alongside HR professionals and business partners, you will contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate across teams, and use data and insights to help inform decisions and support a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. How you will make an I mpact AIG’s S ummer I nterns are immersed in the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving, global insurance company. During the 9 -week program , y ou will gain valuable, hands-on experience and insurance industry knowledge , work ing with leaders on dynamic projects, with plenty of opportunity for challenges, learning and achievement. S ummer I nterns join one of our key business teams , which offers a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. In addition to meaningful on-the-job experiences , interns will join instructor - led masterclasses, hear directly from senior leaders, and build meaningful connections through mentoring circles, networking events and volunteering. Following completion of the internship program, interns may be considered for a role in the location where they completed their internship, with the Analyst program beginning in July 2028 .
Responsibilities
Support the execution of HR programs, processes, and initiatives across areas such as HR Business Partnering, Compensation, and Talent & Performance Management. Partner with HR colleagues and business stakeholders to support the execution of people priorities across respective client groups and deliver effective HR solutions. Analyze workforce and HR data to identify insights, support decision-making, and contribute to program effectiveness. Assist with key HR activities, which may include compensation programs, talent and performance initiatives, workforce planning, and employee engagement. Contribute to HR projects and cross-functional workstreams that support business and organizational priorities. Support compliance with Company policies, programs, and procedures while
