Nordics Sub-Regional Integration Manager

Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) delivers the infrastructure that powers Microsoft’s cloud services. The EMEA Data Centre Delivery (DCD) team leads the end-to-end engineering, procurement, construction, integration, and handover of data centres through sub-regional delivery teams. The Nordics Sub-Region covers Finland, Sweden, and Norway. We are seeking a Nordics Sub-Regional Integration Manager to lead the regional ITIM team and provide integration strategy, governance, and delivery oversight across the portfolio. Helsinki, Finland, is the preferred location.  The role requires a senior integration leader who is credible in both field and executive governance forums, combines technical infrastructure and construction delivery knowledge with programme leadership, and uses data to communicate portfolio health while challenging contractors and internal stakeholders when commitments are at risk. The successful candidate will lead and develop the ITIM team across multiple projects, influence delivery without direct authority, and travel regularly across Finland, Sweden, and Norway.  Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Own the Nordics integration delivery framework, setting standards, priorities, controls, reporting, and assurance routines. Provide functional leadership, coaching, and process consistency to site ITIMs across the portfolio. Partner with construction, design, commissioning, operations, security, network, procurement, suppliers, and General Contractors to align integration with project commitments. Maintain a consolidated view of integration health, milestones, risks, and resourcing, and lead escalation of cross-project issues. Assure integration requirements are embedded at design stage and escalate dependencies threatening committed milestones. Oversee construction-stage integration delivery and challenge plans, procurement, sequencing, quality, and evidence against committed milestones. Drive consistent handover readiness, project closeout, and lessons learned into improved portfolio predictability.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, information technology, telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.  Significant experience delivering integration for data centres, mission-critical facilities, industrial developments, or other complex capital projects across design, construction, commissioning readiness, handover, or project closeout.  While not required, we also look for the following   Preferred Qualifications: The role requires multi-country experience delivering hyperscale data centres or mission-critical infrastructure, with deep expertise in technical integration, commissioning readiness, and operational turnover. The candidate should be able to establish consistent integration standards, coordinate complex multidisciplinary dependencies, manage risks, and influence stakeholders across multiple projects without direct authority. Relevant technical or project-management certifications are advantageous, alongside fluent English; Finnish, Swedish, or Norwegian is a plus.  Background Check Requirements:  Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
