About this role
The Marketing Operations Manager will own end-to-end process design, documentation, and enablement to support the growth of our Ads business. This role ensures clarity of enterprise roles and responsibilities, drives operational efficiency, and enables smooth rollout of new ad products, tools, and technology solutions. As the business accelerates, scalable and repeatable processes are critical. This position will lead efforts to create and maintain workflows, manage centralized documentation, and develop training programs that equip teams for consistent execution. Success means reducing friction, improving speed-to-market, and enabling alignment across marketing, sales, and business support teams. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. What you’ll do Support/lead the operationalization of creative assembly, content automation, and workflow optimization initiatives. Help translate creative and technical templates to support content automation, dynamic assembly, and AI-enabled creative workflows. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to expand and enhance automation capabilities across marketing processes. Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements that drive scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, drive adoption, and facilitate clear, consistent communication of new processes and capabilities. Support training materials, documentation, and enablement resources to support successful implementation and ongoing adoption. Monitor workflow effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on business needs, user feedback, and performance metrics.
Basic qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience. 6+ years of experience in Content Automation, Marketing Operations, Enablement, Project Management, or related roles. Prioritization skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and influence stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in marketing operations, enablement or project management Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating documentation, training materials, and process guides. Proven experience designing and documenting scalable processes and workflows. Experience navigating ambiguity. Proficiency in Adobe, workfront, adobe firelfy Experience with change management and driving adoption of new processes and tools.
