Standard Job Description 
 Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an  Alternate Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to join the Dynamic Targeting & Surveillance Systems (DT&SS) team in Palmdale, California. In this role you will serve as a subject‑matter expert for industrial security, developing, administering, and auditing security programs that satisfy all applicable government regulations for the protection of classified material, export‑controlled data, and proprietary information. You will apply a deep understanding of 32 CFR Part 117, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and DoDM 5205.07 SAP Security Manuals to ensure compliance across Special Access Program (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and DoD collateral classified contracts. Working closely with U.S. Government customers, you will obtain contract execution approvals, request security rulings, and manage any necessary deviations. Your responsibilities will also include supporting program managers in controlling quality, schedule, and cost while preserving the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer and Lockheed Martin. You will author implementation manuals that outline regulations, handling, storage, record‑keeping, and access protocols for classified material, and you will disseminate industry best practices and lessons learned throughout the enterprise. In addition, you will design and deliver security education classes, investigate security violations, prepare comprehensive reports, and recommend preventive or corrective actions. By applying business‑oriented, risk‑managed solutions to security challenges, you will communicate observations and recommendations to senior leadership and enterprise partners. The position requires both independent and team‑oriented work to support all contractual security obligations for SAP, SCI, and related classified programs, and you will perform additional duties as needed to maintain mission readiness and inspection readiness.  Basic Qualifications 
 Possess a Top Secret security clearance with current investigation date. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) Access. Subject Matter Expert Knowledge of DoDM 5205.07. Working knowledge of ICD 705 standard Prior experience working with or implementing security plans for facilities and security operations. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills. Prior PERSEC experience in a SAP, proficient with the SAP Nomination Process (SAPNP).  Prior experience with SAP Inspections Desired Skills 
 Prior experience generating and maintaining Fixed Facility Checklists in support of special access programs in accordance with DoD 5205.07 and ICD 705 Works well independently and in group settings Experience working in a military environment Experience providing briefings and/or training Ability to multi-task and remain organized; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products Experience with JADE, JIRA, DISS, and Special Access Programs (SAP) security compliance Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
