The role involves working on low-speed and high-speed peripheral subsystems such as USB, PCIe, UART, SPI, and I2C, supporting customer hardware bring-up, and debugging complex driver issues on multiprocessor ASIC platforms.   Domain: Embedded Systems / Peripherals / Device Drivers   Key Responsibilities: Debug and resolve issues related to   USB and PCIe   during design reviews and customer hardware bring‑up. Provide   customer support for HW bring‑up   on   multiprocessor and multithreaded ASIC platforms . Develop, debug, and maintain   device drivers   for standard peripheral interfaces, including: USB PCIe Analyze and fix   complex driver‑level issues   reported by customers. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, validation, and cross‑functional teams to ensure robust peripheral functionality Participate in design reviews, root cause analysis, and technical documentation.

3–6 years of experience in embedded systems development Hands ‑ on experience in device driver development on one or more operating systems, including RTOS or other embedded operating systems Strong proficiency in C programming Solid understanding of microprocessor and multiprocessor architectures Good knowledge of real ‑ time/embedded programming concepts and RTOS fundamentals Strong analytical, debugging, and problem ‑ solving skills Ability to independently debug complex issues, multitask, and work in a customer ‑ facing technical role.   Minimum Qualifications: •    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
