Display Technology Enabling Engineer

Job Details: Job Description: The successful candidate will be part of the Client PC Ecosystem (PCE) team.

Key responsibilities are: • Support Intel Platform requirement on display features 1. Working with external 3rd Party panel vendors to deliver co-validated platforms in support of Intel's defined display/touch enabling programs. 2. Negotiate realistic schedules with the team lead, manage task priority and drive vendor programs to deliver committed projects on time. 3. Participate in weekly meetings to solve vendor design/driver issues to ensure they are ready for launch • Drive display design-in/win with OEMs 1. Support the project by applying general PC platform knowledge and vendor design/driver expertise to the product 2. Understand the product market segment and reinforce key messages with the vendors customer and Intel sales team 3. Provide the data necessary to help solve business issues in projects and improve the product's competitiveness • Deliver innovated ideas and solutions for future roadmap 1. Provide ideas on products should evolve, new/future product trend, new process in order to develop an innovation pipeline for Intel to invest in the trend/future 2. Collaborate with display architecture team for next-generation POC design and validation 3. Identify and work issues with the vendors, internal marketing, engineering and initiative groups 4. Developed a growing and consistent knowledge of products and use the knowledge effectively to support product introduction and volume production ramp • Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing 1. Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. 2. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. 3. Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk. 4. Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems. 5. Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products. 6. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. 7. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. 8. Lead Technical discussion with display makers and internal team to deliver results Qualifications: • Master's Degree with minimum of 10 years of display industry experience and bachelor degree with minimum 15 years relevant display‑industry experience • Strong knowledge in display technologies, display IT marketing, operation/data path between GFX and TCON is a must, MS Windows is nice-to-have. • Experienced in Embedded Display Port (eDP), High Dynamic Range (HDR), Panel Self Refresh (PSR) 1/2, Low Refresh Rate (LRR), Adaptive Sync, DSC, HBR3, OLED, /mini LED • Proven track record on leading cross group collaborative skills • Excellent customer technical communication skills • Strong communication skill with great capability to understand, specify and communicate requirements to marketing and engineering teams • Ability to travel max. 20 percent of time • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and to achieve high quality results • Strong English comprehension (Speak, Read, Write) are a must; Mandarin Japanese and/or Korean language capability will be a plus • Other prefer skillsets: strong leadership and cross group program management, spec management, validation, strong planning and execution, vendor engagement and support, PoC development and industry evangelism/influence. • Opportunities will exist to create and drive 3rd party vendor program plans for various enabling program working with leading 3rd party HW vendors            Job Type: Experienced Hire Shift: Shift 1 (Taiwan) Primary Location: Taiwan, Taipei Additional Locations: Posting Statement: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental
