Industrial Electro-Mechanic Location: Stockton, CA Shift: Day shift November - May (Months are variable based on season) Night shift June - October (Peak season, Months are variable based on season) Starting Pay: $36.18 - $40.07/hour, depending on experience HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE… At Campbell Soup Supply Company’s tomato processing facility in Stockton, CA, you will play a critical role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and reliably. As a Mechanic, you will leverage your expertise in steam systems, turbines, evaporators, gas-fired boilers, pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment to support a large-scale food manufacturing operation. Your work will directly contribute to production performance, equipment reliability, food safety, and quality compliance. WHAT YOU WILL DO… Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul mechanical equipment throughout the facility. Diagnose and resolve equipment failures using schematics, manuals, blueprints, diagnostic tools, and troubleshooting methodologies. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime. Inspect equipment during operation and identify issues through observation, sound, and performance monitoring. Maintain and repair: Steam systems, steam turbines, evaporators, condensate systems, and gas-fired boilers Pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, chains, sprockets, gears, and drive systems Pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and basic electrical systems Analyze bearing failures and determine root causes. Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and alignment tools. Execute laser coupling alignments and other precision mechanical maintenance tasks. Research replacement parts, create requisitions, and work within the plant logistics system to secure necessary components. Follow all lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols related to pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems. Perform welding and fabrication tasks, including: Stick welding (SMAW) MIG welding TIG welding Oxyacetylene welding, brazing, and cutting Support production goals while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards. Provide guidance and support to production personnel and teammates as needed. Work seasonal overtime as required to support facility operations. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE) High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, food processing, agricultural processing, or similar environment. Strong experience with: Steam systems and steam turbines Evaporator processes Gas-fired boilers Pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems to the component level. Working knowledge of: Shafts, couplings, keys, keyways, chains, sprockets, gears, and gear ratios Bearing inspection, installation, maintenance, and failure analysis Industrial lubrication systems and lubricant selection Experience reading and interpreting manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical
