JOB DESCRIPTION As a Specialist, Piping Planner , you will be expected to produce job packages for all piping work orders on all areas. The job plans must fully satisfy the notificaton scope and include all material, services, resources as well as the appropriate scheduling logic between operations or tasks plus the right level of field verication or job stepping. Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities :
Processing all piping & plating notifications in SAP, turn into work orders, and assign to the correct planner groups as agreed by the Area Leader & Discipline Supervisor. Co-ordinating all E & High-priority notifications with relevant Discipline Supervisors. Responsible for ensuring all MoC’s (as required) are progressed through the system. Assign notifications ‘TEVA’ technical evaluation and then remove when MOC is approved. Ensuring MOC & ATC steps are listed in the detailed job steps/plan. Producing detailed job packages for all work orders for relevant area of responsibility as per the Best Practice Guide in the Maintenance Manual. Ensuring work IWR orders are planned ready for scheduling to meet the business needs. Work closely with area scheduling to establish and define Area / Refinery resource levels. Routing high cost orders >£5K through the Discipline Superintendent for verification & approval. Facilitating backlog and planning list reviews for duplicates, aging work orders with Area Leader & Discipline Supervisor. Coordinating and drive large unplanned events as directed by the Discipline Supervisor. Produce required work lists to support job activities for day and night shift work. Assisting with coordination of specialist contractors. Key contact for BOM amendments. Coordinating weekly PLAN, RTSC list with BU’s and discipline planners. Track materials identified by the ’WAMA’ process and update work orders ‘RTSC’ when materials are delivered. Co-ordinating Temporary repairs for relevant area of responsibility. Liaising with BU Engineers and Supervisors for constructability reviews as required. Reviewing all scopes with Operations to ensure availability and any additional isolation requirements.
Qualifications Basic/Required:
Legal right to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis without restrictions Relevant engineering trade qualification & background. Knowledge of contract administration and management. Plant reliability, inspection or maintenance experience. Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and objectives. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all employees and contractors. Specialist knowledge in the use of SAP PM & PS modules & proficient in MS Office Skills. Detailed knowledge of Maintenance Planning ‘Best Practice’ Specialist knowledge in Planning & Estimating.
