The Opportunity
Under moderate supervision, maintain proper inventory levels throughout the organization's product production cycle. Pull or replenish inventory to meet organizational needs. Maintain shipment and delivery schedules. Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies. Perform periodic inventory reviews, recording the quantity, type, and value of materials on hand. What we’re looking for Education: High School education or GED preferred.
Experience
2 years of experience or a degree, or equivalent inventory control experience. Experience using warehousing computer systems. Experience completing wall-to-wall inventory counts in a large distribution center. Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT). Proficiency in MS Office (MS Outlook and MS Excel). Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Professional demeanor and attitude towards our clients How you will thrive and create an impact Continuous Physical Inventory (CPI) Conducts entire warehouse stock counts and ensures inventory accuracy. Responsible for mapping the warehouse and creating ranges for analysis. Investigates discrepancies at physical inventory grid locations and reviews variances between SAP systems that may not be caught through reporting mechanisms. Responsible for running CPI reports. Identifies high-traffic zones and analyzes root causes. Prepares monthly reporting to Corporate (Location accuracy, Dollar Accuracy, and Completion %). Audits precursor zone monthly and reports outcomes. Daily Stock Checks/ Stock Maintenance Investigates discrepancies with customers’ orders (shorts, overages, and wrong product shipments). Runs daily report to review. Runs shorted Order Report daily to collect system shorts, validates system accuracy regarding reasons for shorts. Verifies product lot numbers and dating information for internal Customers. Provides quality assurance (QA) info on product lot numbers and expiry information for product recalls. Moves inventory stock upon request (both physically and in SAP system). Manages monthly batch conversion verification and monthly monitoring of new batch-controlled items added to the system; verifies loads to SAP. Responsible for monthly inventory counts of dated items with life codes in SAP (DWO), validate, rotate, and report. Analysis of data and physical grid locations to ensure expired products have been removed from inventory and placed in non-conforming zones. Reports high dollar losses. Warehouse Short Investigations Responsible for logging shorts that require further investigation. Runs weekly review of non-conforming inventory and holds or releases inventory zones as required.
