Job Summary
Develops and manages allocated supply base to optimize procurement activities. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities. Ensures compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sourcing activities. Key Areas of Responsibility • Leads the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction and supplier performance objectives. • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly. • Conducts thorough market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities. • Understands the technical and business strategic requirements and able to translate in supplier strategy and supplier management. • Negotiates contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. • Monitors supplier performance and manages supplier relationships to ensure quality and delivery standards are met. • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations in all sourcing activities. • Provides guidance and mentorship to junior team members in procurement best practices and sourcing strategies. • Responsible for execution of the commodity strategy, execution of supply base strategy and supplier strategy. • Responsible for supplier scouting, selection in NPDL phase • Responsible for early supplier involvement • Lead tender generation and review process for the assigned scope in the NPDL phase. • Ensure that all Supplier related risks are controlled and mitigated. • Responsible for reviewing the compliance of the suppliers in the assigned scope regarding the Supplier quality, Supplier Sustainability and Supplier Development KPI's. • Support procurement excellence (Value Engineering, DfX conventions, supplier development etc.) within the assigned scope. • Responsible for mid- and long-term price forecast for assigned suppliers. Critical Experiences • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus on supplier negotiation and contract management. • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent certification is highly recommended.
