About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support business decision-making through financial analysis and planning. This role will lead a team responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide recommendations to support business decisions. Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Monitor financial risks and implement controls to protect company assets and financial integrity. Improve accounting processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and automation. Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives. Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital activities in collaboration with finance and treasury teams. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational goals. Coach, develop, and manage a high-performing finance team.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of finance or accounting experience. Strong financial analysis and business intelligence skills. Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver results. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor others. Adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
Education
Bachelor degree OR equivalent experience Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
