The Sr Supervisor Production leads manufacturing operations for an assigned business unit, delivering the production plan safely, on time, and with strong quality, food safety, cost, and people performance. This role directs production leaders and operators, coordinates support from Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Services, and promotes a healthy, collaborative workplace. What will you do? · Lead shift priorities and daily production execution using labor, materials, and fixed assets effectively. · Build a prevention-focused safety, health, and environmental culture; identify and report unsafe conditions and acts promptly. · Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and company standards. · Apply Hershey Lean practices and daily management routines to improve productivity, reduce defects, and sustain continuous improvement. · Coach leaders and operators, maintain training readiness, address employee concerns, and administer attendance and schedule-related records. · Monitor safety, quality, waste, rework, efficiency, OEE, inventory, conformance, turnover, and absenteeism metrics; validate operating data in SAP/AIM. Minimum Requirements
Experience: 1+ years of relevant manufacturing or production leadership experience, including supervision of operational teams. Experience with Lean manufacturing, production planning, problem solving, statistics, Excel, and SAP is required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related field. Working knowledge of labor requirements, industrial and site security, and strong people leadership, urgency, communication, initiative, and sound judgment are required.
