Job Description
What we need : 10-15 years of proven systems development experience using structured. Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, quality assurance, and operations. Drive innovation by researching and applying new technologies and methodologies. Ensure engineering solutions meet business requirements and comply with industry standards. Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions. Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to the development of engineering best practices and standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and team productivity. The Experience / Knowledge You Bring: Ability to pivot to new technologies as they become available. Keep pace with a constantly changing environment. Collaborate with users/stakeholders to translate business problems into technical requirements. Comfortable working with ambiguity (e.g. imperfect data, loosely defined concepts, ideas, or goals) and translating these into more tangible outputs. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Self-motivated. Capable of working with little or no supervision; but must be a good team player. Strong written and verbal communication skills Enjoy challenging and thought-provoking work Have a strong desire and curiosity to learn and progress Ability to manage multiple tasks and requests Structured, disciplined approach to work, with attention to detail Specific Technical Skills Required: Software Developer At lest 10+ yrs of experience with Java, AWS, SQL, Snowflake, Distributed architecture, Springboot, Linux At least 3+yr of experience on AWS Experience in Agile methodologies and related methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban etc..,) Experience in Design/Architect Enterprise Applications Integrating Heterogenous/Distributed Applications Experience with continuous integration Securities industry knowledge -- ETF a big plus Trading systems like Charles River, Aladdin Batch control applications such as AutoSys, UAC Any experience in React and API development is added advantage Keep up with the latest technology trends and design patterns Certification in AWS or JAVA is a big plus Functional Area Required Skills/Experience/Knowledge: ETFs Asset management industry experience is a huge plus.
