Responsibilities
The Production Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations on the GPD assembly line by performing manual assembly tasks in a cleanroom environment. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to follow established manufacturing procedures and work instructions. The ideal candidate is a team player who is committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced production environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform manual assembly operations for products and subassemblies on the GPD production line. Follow written work instructions, process documentation, and engineering specifications. Work in a cleanroom environment while adhering to gowning and contamination control requirements. Conduct visual inspections to verify product quality and workmanship. Handle materials and assemblies in accordance with ESD and quality requirements. Utilize hand tools and manufacturing equipment as required. Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Collaborate with operators, technicians, engineers, and quality personnel to support production goals. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process changes as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications High school diploma required Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic computer skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or production assembly experience. Experience working in a cleanroom environment. Basic soldering experience. Experience with small-part assembly and hand tools. Familiarity with ESD handling procedures.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
