About the team
The Intra-Week Planning (IWP) team is responsible for short-term volume forecasting and capacity planning across Amazon's last-mile delivery network in Europe. Based in Barcelona, the team produces daily forecasts that help Delivery Stations across nine countries (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, and the UK) prepare for what's coming — from expected package volumes to staffing and driver needs. In practice, this means the forecasts you help produce directly influence how many drivers are on the road, how stations plan their shifts, and how quickly customers receive their packages. The team works at pace, responding to real-time changes in demand and network conditions that aren't captured in longer-term plans, making it a fast-moving, high-impact environment where your work is felt across the entire European delivery operation
