Finance Manager, 3P Finance MX

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join MX's 3P Finance team to be our Finance Cost to Serve and External Fulfillment lead for 3PMX. Our 3P (Third-Party) business includes Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) and Merchant Fulfillment Network (MFN) channels. With Sellers contributing to over 65% of Amazon MX online sales, 3P's FBA channel is integral to Amazon's ability to deliver on its goal of offering a vast selection of products at low prices to customers. In this role, you will serve as the Finance Business Partner for Amazon Mexico's External Fulfillment channels — including Easy Ship and Seller Flex — owning end-to-end financial visibility, performance tracking, and strategic guidance for these businesses. Beyond channel partnership, you will lead the Cost to Serve agenda for 3P MX: identifying cost reduction opportunities, building scalable profitability frameworks, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Business, and Delivery Experience (DEX) teams to drive structural improvements in unit economics. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, a track record of effective business partnership, and the ability to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. You will be expected to independently develop financial frameworks that connect operational inputs to P&L outcomes, influence senior leaders through rigorous data-driven storytelling, and hold cross-functional teams accountable to shared cost and profitability targets. The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders — translating complex cost drivers into clear, actionable insights — is essential to succeed in this role. Key job responsibilities Be the Finance Manager (and co-owner) for Amazon MX's External Fulfillment channels (Easy Ship and Seller Flex), serving as the primary Finance Business Partner for the EF business team Own the Cost to Serve agenda for 3P MX, identifying structural cost reduction opportunities and coordinating initiatives across Operations, Business, and Delivery Experience teams Build and maintain financial frameworks that connect operational inputs (unit economics, carrier costs, fulfillment rates) to P&L outcomes, enabling data-driven decision making on cost and profitability Lead month-end close activities and planning cycles (OP, Q-Guidance, MFR) for the EF channel and 3P Cost to Serve lines Consolidate forecasting and reporting processes for Cost to Serve, driving automation and process simplification across planning cycles Provide accurate and insightful financial analysis to senior leaders, translating complex cost drivers into clear, actionable narratives that influence strategic decisions Active business partner co-leading cross-functional initiatives with Operations, DEX, and Business teams to improve unit economics and accelerate the path to profitability Find opportunities to leverage global standards and frameworks, partnering with central finance teams to transfer repeatable tasks and scale best practices across the region About the team Inclusive team culture At Amazon we embrace our differences and we are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion.
