Our 25,000+ employees encourage each other to be at their best through outstanding leadership, training and tools and rewards.   As a participant of our ABG Accelerate internship program you will be encouraged to explore different areas of our business to grow both personally and professionally to jump start a rewarding career.  The 10 Week Accelerate Internship Program consists of:  Learning the ins and outs of your department  Professional development workshops  Hear from our leaders to learn more about our business  Network with our senior leadership team   Visit our field operations to learn how your team influences our daily operations    What you'll do Build new applications/tools/systems system for business critical operations  Engage with users to iteratively refine solutions, quickly test ideas, and build upon feedback  What we’re looking for:  Expected Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Physics  Programming experience with languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript and a strong understanding of object oriented programming concepts  Experience building applications to efficiently collect, manage, and process large data sets for analytics, ensuring fast performance and user-friendly interfaces  Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with ever-evolving objectives   Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.  Experience in a customer-facing environment, with proven ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders outside of your immediate team  Experience years of experience with RESTful Web services (preferred) Experience with progressive and responsive web design (preferred) Knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with MySQL databases (preferred) The hourly rate for this position is $30 an hour.
