Senior Associate Quality Engineer Position Summary McKesson Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate Quality Engineer with a solid foundation in test automation, API testing, and performance validation. With 2+ years of experience, the ideal candidate will support the development and execution of testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of our software products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Playwright. Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps. Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured. Assist in performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software lifecycle. Apply AI-driven testing methodologies to optimize defect detection and validation workflows, implementing AI solutions within quality assurance environments Document and manage test cases, execution, and results using test management tools like Jira or TestRail. Analyze test outcomes, report defects, and participate in root cause analysis. Contribute to process improvements and adoption of new testing technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). With 2+ years of relevant experience including internships. Critical Skills Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, API testing, and basic performance testing. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience implementing AI/ML concepts and their application in quality engineering Experience with CI/CD tools and basic DevOps practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Attributes Exposure to healthcare, supply chain, or logistics domains. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Interest in AI/ML concepts and their application in quality engineering.
