As a Sr. Full Stack AI Engineer at Micron, you will be part of the FE YMS AI Engineering Team, where you will design and deliver next-generation, AI-native solutions. In this role, you will focus on building intelligent, scalable systems that integrate advanced AI capabilities—including yield analytics and improvement solutions, data ETL pipelines, machine learning/LLM applications, and agentic workflow orchestration. You will partner with multi-functional team members to translate complex business challenges into adaptive, high-performance solutions that employ autonomous agents and workflow automation to drive decision-making and productivity. While your primary focus will be within YMS AI Solutions, the applications and solutions you build will be designed for reuse and scale, enabling enterprise-wide impact across Micron’s global operations. We require a minimum of 3+ years of software engineering experience involving medium- to high-complexity design and implementation. Having experience in the semiconductor industry is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications across front-end UI/UX, API, and backend layers. Design and implement custom AI agents, reusable agent skills, orchestration frameworks, and automation workflows using modern AI technologies such as LLMs, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and MLOps. Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Apply strong software engineering practices, including modular architecture, object-oriented design, clean code, automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and source control. Fix and resolve application, system, and performance issues to ensure reliability and stability. Collaborate with multi-functional team members to deliver solutions that improve business value. Continuously improving engineering standards, processes, and operational excellence. Contribute to the adoption of innovative solutions, intelligent automation, and modern software architectures.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, software Engineering or a related field; Master preferred. 3+ years building and delivering production web or AI applications end to end. Track record of delivering in complex, cross-functional environments, collaborating across data science, robotics, operations, and infrastructure teams. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, Rust, or JavaScript. Proficiency with SQL and experience working with relational or non-relational data stores, including but not limited to Snowflake, MSSQL, ORACLE. Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS), Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline ownership. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, performance optimization, observability, and reliability engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
