We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable Associate Scientist to join Therapeutic Proteins - Antibody Radioconjugates Technology, conjugating antibodies with bifunctional chelates and fluorescent probes, and radiolabeling conjugated antibodies to support preclinical immunoPET (iPET) and Cryo-fluorescence Tomography (CFT) imaging. You'll generate and characterize Zr-89 radiolabeled and fluorescently-conjugated tracers from our portfolio of antibodies and antibody-based therapeutics, enabling quantitative in vivo imaging studies across Oncology, Immuno-Oncology, and other therapeutic focus areas. Your work will directly enable same-day imaging studies that visualize biodistribution, tumor/tissue targeting, and pharmacokinetics of therapeutic candidates in preclinical models. When & where: Location: Tarrytown, NY - On-site Discover your role: Performs bioconjugation of antibodies with bifunctional chelating agents (DFO, DOTA, etc.) and fluorescent probes following validated protocols Characterizes antibody bioconjugates using SE-HPLC, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, and UV/Vis spectroscopy Radiolabels bioconjugated antibodies with Zr-89, Cu-64, or other radionuclide isotopes; purifies radiolabeled products for same-day use in time-critical imaging studies Runs quality control testing using radio-HPLC, radio-iTLC, and gamma counting to verify tracer quality before release Maintains mammalian cell culture lines and performs cell-based assays to validate tracer binding and function Coordinates tracer preparation timelines with imaging scientists and project teams across multiple therapeutic areas Maintains detailed electronic laboratory notebooks and radiation safety records in compliance with regulations Maintains instruments, troubleshoots instrumental/experimental problems, and orders/maintains supplies This job might be for you if you: Have hands-on experience with protein chemistry, bioconjugation, and chromatographic techniques; experience performing radiochemistry is a plus Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where reliability and punctuality directly impact team success Take pride in maintaining accurate, complete laboratory records Excel at attention to detail and following established protocols with precision Are self-motivated and eager to work independently after training Have strong communication skills This role requires: B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Biology, or a related field with 1-2 years of laboratory experience Comfort working with radioactive materials and willingness to complete radiation safety training Hands-on experience with protein chemistry and bioconjugation techniques, or strong foundational knowledge with willingness to learn Experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC, FPLC, or column chromatography) and mammalian cell culture Proficiency with computers, data analysis software (Excel, Prism, or similar), and electronic laboratory notebook systems Ability to lift 50 lbs Does this sound like you?
