The Senior Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining the rolling 18-month consensus demand plan at multiple levels of aggregation for finished goods items using statistical models within planning systems, and utilising insights from Sales, Marketing, and Finance. The Senior Demand & Supply Planner ensures alignment with the company’s financial plans and works closely with his/her peers locally & in other countries to develop, implement and share best practices. You will support the Sales and Marketing Demand Planning process by providing weekly supply feedback on risks and opportunities, and you will manage the freshness and shelf life of stock in each state. You will be a key contributor to the local Sales and Operational Planning process to ensure robust reconciliation of forecast against trend.
Job Description
DEMAND PLANNING Analyse all data relevant to challenge the sales forecast, taking into account historical sales, market trends, seasonality promotions and strategic focus products; continuously striving to improve forecasting. Understand and communicate the impact of forecast accuracy and the root cause of forecast error. Participate in forecast meetings for specific channels and maintain relevant documentation and SOPs for demand planning processes and systems. Understand volume run-rates and identify “at-risk” SKUs, recommending SKU rationalisation initiatives as required. Drive corrective actions to meet or exceed targeted KPI’s that include but are not limited to Goods Destruction, SKU and DC Forecast Accuracy and Service Level. SUPPLY PLANNING & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT Maintain a rolling 18-month forecast aligned to Demand Plan requirements and assist in the physical distribution cost planning process. Periodically manage inventory targets and safety stock levels and ensure relevant inventory for each SKU and DC. Manage the new product process, product transitions, both end of life and new product introductions and manage co-packing requirements against local supply plan and optimise cost. Manage interstate stock movements to ensure service and within budget. Track GIT (Goods in Transit) and maintain Inwards Shipping Spreadsheet and SAP. Prepare, report and communicate forecast and supply risks & opportunities to management, whilst driving efforts to reduce costs throughout the Supply Chain. SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (APO / IBP) Maintain Master Data, pricing files and APO/IBP settings for finished goods. Prepare Demand and Supply Plan and review on a weekly basis for MR and upload into IBP. Manage inventory targets and ensure relevant safety stock. Complete the Red Bull IBP system requirements each month and on time. Meet or exceed targeted KPI’s that include but are not limited to SKU/DC Forecast Accuracy and Service Level. SUPPORT & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT Understand Red Bull values and role model these behaviours in the S&OP process. Support the Operations department’s objectives and lend a hand when necessary. Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with internal customers, business units and Operations team members Qualifications ERP Knowledge: SAP / APO / IBP Super User with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field with undergraduate statistical analysis or engineering focus (APICS
