Lockheed Martin Space, Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, is seeking a Staff Electrical Component Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. You will lead and/or assist in the performance of Electrical Component (Parts) Engineering, development and execution of the program Electrical Electronic Electromechanical and Electrooptical (EEEE) Parts management plan. You will evaluate new technologies and work closely with survivability, designers, test and manufacturing engineers, agencies like DLA, Part Manufacturers and Test Labs. You’ll use your education, experience and growing expertise to develop and evaluate new and innovative technology to survive in the harshest of environments and most critical strategic systems. In this role you will: Lead and participate in Electrical / Electronic / Electromechanical / Electrooptical (EEEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture and test. Lead in the selection, qualification, test, and failure analysis of EEEE Parts. Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organization. Work on electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs), hybrids, crystals, crystal oscillators, filters, fuses, heaters, magnetics, microcircuits, relays, semiconductors, thermistors. Travel and work closely with suppliers and government agencies to ensure electronic component selections meet both quality expectations and product performance requirements. Work with leadership on technical mentoring plans and development opportunities for junior engineers Conducts or participates in the selection, evaluation, qualification, testing and failure analysis of Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical and Electro-optical (EEEE) Components. Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met. Prepares EEEE Component Source Control Drawings (SCDs), evaluates vendors and analyzes EEEE Component test reports. The Component Engineer is responsible for the oversight of Subcontractor EEEE Components, generating/reviewing/approving Non-Standard Part Approval Requests (NSPARs) at Parts, Materials and Process Control Board (PMPCB) meetings, reviewing and approving engineering drawings and SCDs, participating/leading PMP issue resolutions and assisting/leading failure analysis under the EEEE Components domain.   Basic Qualifications 
 Formal coursework, training, experience and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits, semiconductor physics and/or operation of devices such as hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes and capacitors Knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials and processes used in EEEE parts Experience reviewing engineering drawings and/or
