Work Arrangement Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Middle East HQ Office in Dubai three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
The Product Marketing Manager leads one of the most important and profitable products in the GM AMEO portfolio. In this role, you will represent the voice of the Chevrolet and GMC brands while championing the needs of the customer across the product development and lifecycle management process. You will help shape key elements of the vehicle experience, including pricing, technology, trim strategy, product content, and packaging, to ensure our offerings remain competitive and aligned with customer expectations, brand positioning, and regulatory requirements. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic and agile product professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across regional and global teams. What You’ll Do Lead the product content definition for current and future full-size SUV programs in partnership with program execution and global product teams. Identify the best product solutions for target customer segments based on customer needs, usage occasions, and purchase drivers. Develop product content, packaging, and pricing strategies and evaluate vehicle competitiveness across AMEO and benchmark markets. Shape trim strategy, feature mix, and option penetration to balance customer demand, profitability, and complexity. Translate insights from dealers, customers, and competitors into clear product recommendations and requirements. Support vehicle launches, model year updates, dealership training materials, and product communications across cross-functional teams. Collaborate closely with regional and international stakeholders, including teams in Detroit and other global locations, to align AMEO requirements with global direction. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree required; Business preferred. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product planning, or product management within the automotive industry. Strong experience building and maintaining cross-functional business partnerships. Strong customer focus with the ability to advocate for customer needs in product decisions. High level of product knowledge and strong analytical capability. Ability to synthesize data into insights, develop recommendations, and drive action. Strong judgment with the ability to make trade-off decisions and negotiate effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Ability to work successfully across complex, international, and cross-functional teams. Capability to support marketing-related activities and contribute to customer-focused product positioning. What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Master’s degree preferred. Experience in vehicle engineering or design. Experience supporting or leading a vehicle launch. Experience working with program teams in Detroit. Experience developing pricing, incentive, or market recommendations within the automotive industry. Experience supporting dealer materials, product storytelling, or customer-facing communications.
