Work with data runs to understand the detail of data provided and enhance the existing validation scripts for improvements as required. Perform data runs into staging tables and run validation scripts and generate output reports for the owner of the source system data extracts. Assist the Product owner to add details to user stories for any enhancements to the Bulk Upload Tool as required. Provide advice around target systems to the owner of the source system data extracts. Create repeatable adhoc SQL transformations as may be required for projects. Create and maintain mapping documentation to be shared with project team. Work with Business PM and / or delivery lead to create a cadence of delivery. Work with existing data migration team to smooth the flow of work across timezones.
Responsibilities
Participate as a member of the distributed data migration team across Asia, Pacific and Europe. Perform data runs as required and provide outputs back to the project team members. Work with the Bulk Upload Product Owner, to create product backlog stories in Azure DevOps as required for changes to Bulk Upload Tool. Create adhoc data transformations in SQL as required. Assist to maintain mapping documentation. Learn the various platforms which make up the Commercial Risk Eco System within Aon and how the data flows work. Governance & Delivery Align with the APAC and Global PMO processes and security standards as advised. E.g. Data privacy and data masking Skills and experience that will lead to success Knowledge Previous experience in data migration work. Using Azure Dev Ops or Jira for managing software development. Knowledge of Relational Data Bases & specifically Transact SQL & PL/SQL is a distinct advantage. Knowledge of using ER diagrams is an advantage. Excel knowledge for bulk data loads is an advantage Knowledge of how to test call APIs using Postman or Soap UI is an advantage.
Skills

Emotional Intelligence Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or information technology. 8+ years proven IT experience 3+ years working with data Migration Evidence of being a successful influencer across different teams and cultures. Experience of working on general insurance risk related problems is desirable. Experience within Insurance broking is a distinct advantage.
