What You’ll get to Do: In this role, you will serve dual functions: Hardware CAM for EGI‑M Mechanical Engineering Lead/Individual Contributor for avionics hardware across EGI‑M and other programs. CAM Responsibilities – EGI‑M Hardware Scope Serve as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for the hardware work scope of the EGI‑M program, including chassis, printed circuit board hardware, digital circuits, and associated mechanical hardware. Plan, budget, and manage cost and schedule baseline for hardware engineering tasks, including estimating, tracking, and reporting performance. Establish and maintain the Earned Value Management (EVM) baseline for assigned control accounts; analyze variances and develop/execute recovery plans as needed. Define, collect, manage, and report program metrics (cost, schedule, technical progress) to the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, System Architect, and customer. Identify, track, and mitigate Risks and Opportunities for the EGI‑M hardware scope; ensure proactive management and timely escalation as needed. Coordinate staffing needs for hardware and mechanical engineering tasks, working with functional managers to align resources with program demands. Lead and facilitate regular team meetings for task coordination, status, and performance evaluation across hardware and mechanical engineering activities. Serve as a technical and cost/schedule interface with program management, engineering leadership, and the customer for the EGI‑M HW scope.
