Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as Senior Structural Engineer in one of our Southwest & Wales offices - whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. We’re at the forefront of innovation, delivering an exceptional portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term partnerships with key clients - including major UK water companies (Wessex Water, Welsh Water, Southwest Water locally), contractors and international projects. This role represents a great opportunity to develop your career as a technical expert delivering solutions on a diverse range of projects that meet the technical challenges of today and tomorrow. Here’s what you’ll do: Structural Design : Undertake the design and review of structural elements on wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects, such as water-retaining structures and other water related assets, from concept through construction. Collaborate : With Clients and AECOM counterparts to ensure stakeholders buy in to solutions, and also contribute to AECOMs wider technical capability and innovative approach. Quality : Produce and review deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures. Deliver : Take responsibility for delivering to the agreed budget, programme and quality along with supporting the preparation of project budget & programme. Explore : Seek opportunities to innovate and trial new methods by being inquisitive and forward thinking. Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Here’s what we’re looking for: Civil or Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Possess a range of structural analysis and design experience, particularly in relation to reinforced concrete and steelwork structures. Experience working in a digital delivery environment using BIM and 3D design tools.
