About this role
Main Responsibilities
User Support (1st and 2nd Level Help Desk): Direct and remote assistance to hotel staff for issues related to workstations, hardware, software, and peripherals (printers, POS systems, scanners). Hardware and Peripherals Management: Installation, configuration, and basic maintenance of PCs, laptops, IP phones, and cash register devices. Hotel Management Software Support: Initial diagnosis of operational issues with the hotel’s main management software systems (PMS, POS/F&B) and liaison with external technical support staff and vendors. Networks and Connectivity: Basic monitoring of the corporate network (LAN, Wi-Fi for staff and guests) and verification of the proper functioning of access points. Access and Security Systems: Basic monitoring and operational support for internal messaging systems, email, and user credentials/access.
Requirements and Skills
Education: High school diploma or bachelor’s degree (including those currently in progress) in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent technical fields. Basic Technical Skills: Knowledge of Windows operating systems, the Office 365 suite, and fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DHCP). Attitudes and Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, a customer- and service-oriented approach, flexibility, and good interpersonal skills. Languages: Good command of Italian and basic to intermediate knowledge of English (useful for potential guest support or technical documentation). Experience: No prior experience is required; a strong passion for technologies applied to the hospitality industry will be considered a plus.
