Overview This role is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of support to the consolidation, external reporting, and compliance activities for entities within the scope of the India Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC), supporting Bio-Rad's corporate reporting obligations — including quarterly SEC filings, statutory consolidation, and audit deliverables — in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This role will also be responsible to execute the activities of Blackline system admin.
How You'll Make an Impact
Administers and maintains the Blackline reconciliation platform daily — monitoring reconciliation status, workflow, and user access to ensure account certifications remain current, and issues are flagged and resolved promptly Performs the FCC FX rate check to confirm foreign exchange rates loaded into the consolidation system are accurate ahead of month-end close Performs M schedule validation checks to confirm entity’s M schedule submissions are without validation errors. Communicate with entities to have the validations cleared Prepares and distributes intercompany (IC) sales/COGS reports and related stakeholder communications Prepares and submits the monthly CONAJE filing in line with statutory requirements Prepares the monthly Cash trend report and accompanying communication to stakeholders Prepares the Issues and Events memo, summarizing significant matters arising during the period Prepares the FCC BRLCON consolidated report and CO_1000 Trial Balance report Prepares the FCC Diluted EPS report Prepares the FCC OCA (Other Current Assets) report Prepares the FCC OCLSUM (Current and Long-term Liabilities) report Prepares and submits the Quarterly CONAJE 6 filing Assists in the preparation of the 10-Q statement and related footnote disclosures Coordinates and prepares KPMG audit PBC (Prepared-by-Client) deliverables Prepares Subsidiary Representation Letters Performs the FCC manual control review for Profit-In-Inventory (PII) compliance Determines the appropriate resolution of routine reconciliation and consolidation discrepancies within established policies and procedures Escalates significant reporting, control, or audit-related matters to the Immediate Supervisor for review and decision Recommends process improvements to reporting and consolidation workflows
What You Bring
Chartered Accountant or CPA or CMA 4-6 years of relevant experience in consolidation, external reporting, or general ledger accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Finance Shared Services experience in a large multinational company with a high-volume, performance-driven environment preferred Large ERP system experience — Oracle FCC/HFM and SAP preferred Experience in Blackline is must Prior exposure to SEC reporting (10-Q) and Big 4 audit coordination is an advantage Strong working knowledge of consolidation systems (Oracle FCC/HFM or equivalent) and the Blackline reconciliation platform Solid understanding of US GAAP, foreign currency translation, and consolidation accounting principles Working exposure to SEC reporting requirements (10-Q) and coordination of external audit (Big 4) deliverables Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines across daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for interacting with team members, auditors, and business partners Strong analytical and problem-solving background Innovative and able to think both analytically and conceptually Fluent (both orally and in writing) in English
