Responsibilities
IOP Program Coordinator - Northpoint, AL. Horizon Health is seeking an IOP Program Coordinator (Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW or Licensed Professional Counselors LPC) to work on the inpatient psychiatric units (54-bed Adult & Gero Psych Unit) at the Northpoint Medical Center in Northpoint, AL. The IOP Program Coordinator will oversee the implementation and quality assurance of behavioral health interventions, ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies, provide staff training and supervision, engage with clients and families to support treatment adherence and recovery, market and educate the community on the program, and maintain accurate documentation. This position requires a strong background in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, or groups, and is licensed in their respective discipline. This position requires a compassionate and client-centered approach to support the mental health and well-being of our patients. This position adheres to all ethical standards, codes of conduct, and licensing requirements and upholds client confidentiality and privacy rights. This position may have contact with patients who have moderate to severe psychiatric concerns and/or behavioral issues. There is the possibility this position could be exposed to violent behavior from patients and/or behavioral issues as part of their daily duties.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive client assessments, develop, utilize and monitor individualized treatment plans, deliver counseling and therapeutic services, and evaluate program effectiveness using outcome measures Implementation and quality assurance of behavioral health interventions, ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies, engage with clients and families to support treatment adherence and recovery, and maintain accurate documentation Coordinate the daily operations of the intensive outpatient behavioral health program. This includes training and supervision of PRN Therapist(s), scheduling and patient flow Liaise with community organizations, referral sources, and funding agencies to promote the IOP. Effectively participates in the referral development process. Coordinate necessary care with family members and outside resources. Responsible for crisis calls and evaluations for IOP clients and family members engaging in the service Coordinate and implements diagnostic procedures; monitors them for consistent application within the program and compliance with state certification and established clinical standards Handle patient grievances, incident reports, and crisis situations Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
