Job Summary: Trane is hiring a Regional Client Services Sales Leader to join our Texas-Gulf Coast team. In this role, you will function as district sales leader for the client services sales associates. You will develop and maintain long-term customer relationships and maximize account penetration with an emphasis on small transactional and underpenetrated accounts. Sales constitute all the processes and functions required to obtain inside/outside sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Lead and coach the combined Client Services Sales team, with focus on capability building and measurable results Develop and execute a clear sales motion for owner account growth, including identifying and targeting small transactional and underpenetrated accounts Drive conversion of installed base owners to service customers, with emphasis on owners with Trane equipment not currently buying service Establish and monitor activity standards, pipeline review, and follow-up expectations with regular accountability checkpoints Improve cross-functional coordination between service and sales teams to enhance customer responsiveness and opportunity capture Manage financial performance and accountability for profit, revenue, margins, and business mix across all assigned accounts and service streams Hire, onboard, and assess sales associates; administer training to build both capability and sustained performance Manage performance of direct reports through ongoing coaching, feedback, and development aligned to individual and team goals Leverage digital tools, reporting systems, and Trane sales tools to create visibility, drive accountability, and enable data-informed decision-making Ensure sales office compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational integrity standards Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum five (5) years of Service or Related Sales management experience. Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
