Overheads Controlling Manager - MENA

Danone MENA is looking for a talented Overheads Controlling Manager - MENA, to be based in Dubai, UAE like you! PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Organize & mobilize resources (people, process, tools) to ensure: - Timely preparation & articulation of Overheads on historical data through a monthly dashboard - Verification and approval of Payroll on monthly basis - Accurate Rolling forecast projection as well as reporting in Magnitude/Essbase - tracking of Balance sheet GL’s under scope to ensure clear picture on monthly basis. - Value creation through Identifying & tracking productivity - Secure compliance to Internal control (Dango) within the scope - Support ad hoc project BUSINESS CONTEXT & KEY CHALLENGES (that the role holder will face in the coming 2 years) - Volatile and increasingly challenging business environment (Cogs increase, vessel constraints, Forex volatility) - Business integration - Beyond Budget Rolling Forecast – increased complexity, reporting frequency & horizon - More sophisticated tools & processes (Themis SAP & Essbase) delivering stronger controls & efficiency however requiring stronger coordination, collaboration & anticipation KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Payroll Approval - Monthly Overheads Dashboard with YTD in comparison to LY & Rolling forecast - Overheads bridge with building blocks v. LY & LRF - Magnitude reporting for schedules in scope for Actual as well as RF - Essbase data upload for RF - X-functional collaboration with HR to ensure People cost data is most recent - Monthly circulation of T&E report to CODI - Managing Monthly closing process for Overheads - PO Approvals for non people cost in scope - Yearly working on X-charges for hosted team in Dubai relating to other zones. - Deep dive on IS/IT cost details to ensure legitimacy of IS/IT charges for the CBU - Constantly look for Productivity and ensure crystallization of value created on the initiative KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS - Forecast Accuracy – Avoid financial “surprises” - Reporting Accuracy & Respect to Deadlines - Relevance of Cost Analysis & Functional Support JOB DIMENSIONS - Manage and interact with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) - Key Challenge and Build role in Forecasting process - Technical knowledge (excel macro, Themis (SAP) & Essbase) About You Target Profile Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent. - Master's degree is preferred Experience / knowledge required + 4 years successful experience in Finance, primarily in Finance Controlling / Business Controlling in Multinational FMCG environment with experience in managing Data & Tools as well as good dashboard animating skills. - Strong communication & presentation skills - A high degree of reliability, agility, initiative, resilience, integrity, confidentiality and empathy - Ability to perform in a cross-functional, volatile, uncertain and multi-cultural environment - Fluent in English (written and spoken), ideally also knowledge of Arabic Other Functional Skills: Mastering of Controlling skills, in particular analytic & synthesis capabilities including: - Mindset of ensuring avoidable expenses are eliminated - Accuracy of data with correct allocation of cost - Variance analysis - Forecasting principles - Good number crunching skills - Risk and opportunities management - Dashboards - Strong book keeping knowledge Sound understanding of Internal Control principles including: - Audit & audit track principles - DanGo Internal Control rules - Fraud risk awareness - WHO Code & Right Way - CBU authorization matrix - Governance principles Mastering of Tools:, - Advanced Excel - SAP R/3 - Magnitude - Essbase Mobility Candidates should be open to move within the region or outside the region with Danone in 3-4 years if such opportunity will arise which will contribute to his/her career growth Danone Values Candidates are expected to adhere to Danone’s core values: Humanism, Openness, Proximity & Enthusiasm About Us About us: Danone is a
